I own a 72 Dart and have pulled the steering column out and the gauge cluster. Can someone give me a detailed instruction on removing the whole dash out. I have some surface rust i want to take care of behind it.Thanks.

Two bolts above the kick panels, the parking brake bracket, heater contols, defroster ducts, all need to be removed. Wiring harness needs to be unhooked from the back of the dash. There are 5 bolts hidden under the windshield gasket which can be removed with the windsheild in place by cutting the sheetmetal nuts from under the dash. Having the glovebox and radio out makes it easier to see them. Sometimes the dash gets glued in place by the windshield sealant so it may take some force to pry it away from the firewall. Not a 5 minute job but not impossable

I agree with Daliant, search for the subject here there are posts including mine with pictures.
