Dash reverse light

I am in desperate need of the dash reverse light assembly for the 69 Dart 4 speed car. I stupidly broke the tangs that hold the light to the housing trying to figure out how to get the bulb out. Thanks for your help.

Take a flat blade screw driver and pop cover off. Then you have direct access to the bulb.

I did, it just pulls out. Didn't even have to pull the assy out.

so the front pops off if i understand right ? or does it pull out from the back .

I wouldn't take the risk to pull on the front chrome bezel. It's easy to reach and replace the bulb from the back

I found out that it just pulls out of the fixture..

I popped front off mine by accident and it snapped back on. Its a reproduction. Sounds like the bulb socket is supposed to be pulled out from the back side?

The bulb and holder is fixed. You just pull the bulb out from behind. Who'd of thought this little item would cost me a hundred bucks!
