This is for a friend I helped at Bonneville.

Looking for some recommendations for a data logger to capture general engine data during a run. What I'd like to capture is the following:

EGT (8 separate signals)
RPM
Coolant temp (2 channels)
oil pressure

A few extra channels for future growth would be nice. What's a good one at a reasonable cost?

I've been looking at data logger from RPM. I have NOT yet made a purchase..
10 channel expandable, digital and analog channels, can do what you want. $500.
Lots of other options too.

Just FYI, I got this reply on another forum..

Check out the data logger that Gale Banks has. We run an AEM unit in our lakester right now but my son, and partner and driver, works at Chuckle' Garage and they have used this logger on their record holding pickup and Duke thinks it is pretty neat so we are switching for next year. RPM data loggers work very well! I have 28 channels of data on my system. Customer service is THE BEST! They always answer the phone, either the owner or his second in command, not sure how many employees work there, might only be two.
