Has anyone heard or done business with this character since January? He owes me and other FABO members parts or refunds. He's in Carroll Ohio. PM me for additional info if interested. I have an address, phone numbers and email addresses. He won't respond to me. So, if you are feeling lucky, let me know. Thanks, Bruce
 
I've had great luck/success dealing with people on this site. Sorry you are having problems. I hope a few don't spoil the trust on this site for others. Hope you get it resolved.

You know ,we are all bad mouthing this guy and there is still no noise out of him.Perhaps something happened to the guy you know, like he's real ill or he got locked up .Has anyone googled his name to see what is out there on him? You'd be surprised what can come up. Some guy on my street dropped off the face of the Earth last summer and we googled him to find out he was arrested in Fla for all this bad felony garbage . Never in a million years would we have imagined such a thing .Just saying
 
Weird how another member visited him, saw the car and had nothing but positive to say?? Jan 7th was last sign in?
If you still can file a PayPal claim asap and see what happens.
 
Paypal doesn't want to get involved because it was "Family and Friends" - my bad.
I was just curious if anyone has had any contact with him since Jan. 8th. I'm even wondering if had legal ownership of the Barracuda and got in trouble. I even tried contacting him using his craigslist posting of the car with no response.
The more eyes on this might get us all an answer.
 
When i sent him money i paypal’ed the funds to Gary Datsko. No part.
Im not out much, but will know better the next time. What a hassle for a backup lens.
 
The only thing out of the ordinary he said during my visit was that his wife threatened to leave him, if he did not get his car stuff cleaned up from around the property. So that led me to believe he lived with his wife there, not his mother. A member contacted me last week and asked me if I'd heard from him. I had'nt, but I emailed him and told him I'd like to drive down and pick up the wheels and pay cash. And that did'nt lure him out. If I hear anything, I'll pass it along.
 
At this point if he is still walking and talking he is likely logged in as guest and reading what has been posted in the forums.just the wrong way to do things in mho
As he was stripping the car and turning it into cash.

I had talked to him for awhile via pm for awhile before the disappearing act. He was asking general questions of value of the parts. He seemed legit and spoke of his wife and daughter very highly. Even sent a picture of the 2 of them. The coorespondence suddenly ended around that date. I even pmd him to see if everything was alright. No response, There is the possibility he is in trouble or there was sickness in his family because he spoke of that as well. unfortunately I cleared all of our conversations to make space in my inbox.. sorry you guys didn't get your stuff, id be pissed too . good luck
 
My guess is that he doesn't have ownership of the car, so parting out is the only other option. He had it on craigslist for sale once for $9999. I tried to lure him out by using the craigslist posting as the hook, but no response.
