Just like title says I have a Demon 340 hood. Hood has holes for hood pins in it and Dual snorkel hood scoop. Hood is in very good to excellent shape. Paint still shines good for 40 year old paint. Hood straight . No dings or dents. No rust. Hood should fit other A-bodies . Asking $475 B/O

I posted this by itself due to I have a few posts on here but there is so much stuff so people probably have not seen it buried in the list of parts.

That is a nice hood and scoop! But, Just wanted to point out so there is no confusion, those are not factory hood pins and they are mounted in the wrong spots. The factory ones had a different stainless bezel, and mounted more towards the front on the other side of the raised rib area. I think the holes (quarter sized?) on the underside near the front in the frame is where they should be. Hope this helps, good luck with your sale!

If you weren't in Philly and I in Pittsburgh this hood would be in my garage.... But a 10hr round trip ride is too far for a spare hood. Any chance your coming this way anytime soon?

slight chance I may be up at Penn State on 7/28 butt hat's probably not close enough for you.

BTW thanks for the info I will edit it.

That's a '72 Demon 340 hood, not a Sizzler.
One year only, it's more valuable as a '72 Demon 340 hood anyway.
Good price, wish i was closer!
Just trying to help your sale.

Here's a Demon Sizzler hood, No factory scoop, which yours has.

That is a 1972 Demon 340 hood with the Sizzler Stripes. Could be an original hood except for the hood pins. '72's were optioned out with the snorkel scoop and Sizzler stripes. Might not say Sizzler on it, but they are the Sizzler Stripes. At least that's what the option states. Just what I've seen and read.

Thanks Demon416, My friend said it was a Demon sizzler hood so maybe he is right or at least partially right!

My offer still stands... $400 and we meet at penn state.

I am not going back up there any time soon

me either... was only going to go there to meet you for a hood... I'm definitely a buyer at $400 and meeting 1/2 way at PSU.

If you change your mind let me know...

Hope you guys can work it out, maybe the interested party can pay for some of the others guy fuel or buy lunch? Always fun to meet another fabo member! A hood is tough to sell due to their size, wouldn't it be nice to have the extra room in the garage? Good luck :glasses7:

there is a Mopar event coming up Aug. 25-26 @ Raceway Park (Englishtown) in Old Bridge,NJ. Hopefully it sells there.

my offer of $400 and we meet in the Penn State (area) is still good.... that's half way for both of us...

If I had a reason to go back up there I would bring the hood but unfortunately I was up there for a special event and won't be going up there anytime in the near future.

Okay... That's the last time I'm offering then. @ $400 -- that was your $350 asking price + $50 for you gas.... It would look good hanging in my garage, but I guess we cant make it work. No Worries.

no problem. Its not worth it for me b/c its not my stuff. If the hood was mine I would take the drive. I know for sure my firend won't do it.
