Demon carb

I have an 850 Demon with non vacuum secondaries. The secondaries are only opening about 45 degrees. Do you adjust them by bending the rod like on a choke

Don't bend anything, you have an issue with how the carb is set up. Fiddle around till you figure it out or take it to a shop.

you may have to remove the baseplate from the main body, and adjust the butterflies position...i had to do this to my demon carb, after i found the butterflies were interfering with the baseplate...


EDIT

I had to do this so the butterflies would close all the way to get it to idle. I didn't have the problem of them not being able to open all the way...may or may not help???

Are you sure its getting full throttle.Maybe throttle cable adjustment? Kevin.

Ignore my post, read it wrong. Thought you said they were vacuum secondary's.
