Just got my 340 in the 69 Cuda this week end.
Can't find any thing to hitch up the throttle cable and kickdown linkage properly, to the carb.
Any one have any experience hitching Demons up.
I'ts a 650 Speed Demon on an LD-340 Eddie manifold.I'm still using the stock mopar throttle cable.
I've got the Hi-Rise throttle bracket kit and have ordered the Lokar Kick-down cable for my 904 tranny. I don't have any pics of how all this stuff hitches up to the stock throttle cable, on the carb.
Any help will be appreciated.
I work 3rd Shift so if I don't answer right away thats why.

Thanks Dave

Here is how I did mine. I used a small clevis pin from the hardware store. I may have had to drill the throttle lever a little bigger though, I don't remember.

Same here, had to drill. I Took measure(the distance from centerline of the shaft?) from holleys mopar adapter, so the travel of the throtle cable remains original. I Have also Lokar kickdown, it didn´t quite open to me how it should be assemble(correctly?). I Put short extension on the throtle lever(lowest hole), to pull kickdown. It has worked for 4 years! Just remember measure throtle stop, gas on the floor=butterflies fully open, so you cant brake your throtle cable, or worse, jam your butterflies open!

GotDart...see you in October in Baytown for the Big Mopar show, I'll be hanging with Todd Marsh from Marsh Performance at his booth.

We'll have a couple of FBO sponsored cars racing.

Cool. Hey bring one of your new stock fuel tanks with the sump welded in for my Dart. I might just be ready for it by then.
