Demon/Dart hood scoops

I see yearone sells the kits to put the dual scoops on your flat demon/dart hood. Were the factory hoods with scoops different than the flat hoods as far as under structure goes?

No. They're all the same, with locations to cutout for scoops.

Not entirely true. Not all years have the location holes on the underside. I know 70-71 has em but not sure when they stopped doing that.

I think all years that that scoop was a factory option had the location holes. But am not 100% on that.

You could be right. So maybe later cars didnt have them?

Seems to me that my 76 Duster didnt..
