I just bought a trunk lid for my demon it has the factory cut outs for the wing but it dose not have the raised line in the middle of the trunk like all I have seen
The guy I bought it from said it was hard to get one with out the raised body line since they are correct for the go wing
Is this correct or is it just off a newer model car I dont want to have it painted than not be correct for the car Thanks
 
Not 100% sure but to my knowledge if you had the cutouts you had no ridge. I haven't seen a ridge trunklid with the cutouts.
 
they had a lot of problems with the middle of the trunk lid denting real easy when pressed hard/leaned against.
i believe the raised center seam showed up latein 71 model year(aug/sep?)
 
My 71 duster 340 had the ribbed trunk lid and all 3 1970 dusters I have owned had the flat trunks lid. So I would assume that sometime in 71 the trunk lid changed to a ribbed one. Now if you ordered a go wing on a '72 or '73 model duster or demon (or dart sport) did you get a flat trunk lid?
 
I have a 71' Demon it has no rib (flat) and the cut out for the wing. I have a 72' Duster parts car. No cut outs for the wing but it has the rib. The parts car was made in 7-72'. The Demon has a factory truck lid so does the Duster. I'm not sure was month the Demon was made. Might help?
