How do I tell if I have W2 econo or edelbrock RPM or neither ? Would a picture of my current head bolts help?

This is the last thing I need to order before rebuilding my 318.

TIA!

What heads are on your engine? W2 and RPM heads are aftermarket. Ic you have stock cast iron heads you don’t want those in the picture

I think what he wants is the second photo "Exc. W-2, W-2 Econo heads or Edelbrock RPM heads" Exc. is short for Except - Right?

Yeah, that makes sense. If I remember correctly, the W-2 and the Edelbrock heads require two extra long bolts and the first one has four long bolts so that would be for the W-2.

I can't remember exactly if the late W2's take two longer head studs instead of one, but the early EW2 stuff takes one long and one short.

I never order studs (or bolts) with the short studs. I buy the kit with the long studs and make up spacers.
