Disk brake cost?Junk yard?

How much do u guys think a disk brake set up would cost me from the yard?My dads budy said he just pulled stuff off a 73 dart with disks on her,hes goin back later to look at whet the shape is like on them,whats a good price for them if iwas gonna get them,more less just the spindles cuz there hard to get sometimes

also will a body drum brakes on my car now will they work any better or worse then some b body drums?for the rear :roll:
 
Id save up and buy a kit. After you buy a used disc set up with spindles and upper conrtol arms for around $300 then new upper and lower ball joints,perheps new rotors and calipers and some new brake pads, master cylinder, brake hoses and wheel bearings your gonna be close to the price of a kit if not over it. Id much rather pay the $850 for a new SSBC kit and have it all in front of me then chase down every little part.
 
the SSBC kit has double drilled rotos for bolth 4 and 4.5". This way you dont have to chenge front rims till your ready to swap out to large bolt in the rear. :thumrigh:
 
Good idea for the ssbc front brakes my car has the manual front disc brakes and I had a hell of a time just to find pads, instead of using the junkyard stuff save a little more for the kits cause the parts will still be available. :bounce:
