distributor gear ???

Oil pump drive shaft? Intermittent gear.?
Get a pinned shaft for a SB and drop a dizzy in.

Have a pic down the hole to see if there is a tower bushing in there for a oil pump drive?

There was no '93 LA 360. '92 was the last year for them. If it's a '93 dated block, it's a Magnum.
They all used distributors, albeit locked-out computer-controlled ones. If you're removing the EFI, then throw a LA distributor in there and go.

.............And even Magnums have a distributor, it's just that instead of triggering the spark, they just have a once-per-revolution cam sensor setup inside
