Distributor question. Swapping out the 318 for TBI 360

My donor engine is from a 1990 truck with TBI. I have pulled off the TBI setup in favor of a carb. When I offered my TBI intake in the for sale section, a buyer asked if it comes complete with all the associated pieces including the distributor.

So will I be needing a distributor as well in order to do this swap? If so, any recommendations?

Look in the TBI distributor. I don't remember when the changes were made.

I believe TBI used a reluctor type trigger like the older cars but NO mechanical or vacuum advance, IE it was locked, and advance handled by the computer

I believe all multiport have crank triggered ignition, and that the distributor in those was a "half moon" deal which acted as a crank sensor. If memory serves, those particular ones would have three wires, not two
