G'day All,
As stated in the heading do extractors give you 10% on average gains in horse power. That's fly wheel hsp. Ive got a 71 340 Dodge demon with the 340 motor which I've had dynoed. Figures stated 340 hsp at the fly with standard cast iron manifolds. Does that mean with extractors/headers I'll get 374 hsp now at the fly.
Also I've heard that the mopar manifolds are more free flowing than other makes & if this is the case would that bring the 10% figure down?
Cheers,
Glenn.
