When I open my tank my pressure on the guage goes up like it's supposed to. However, wj n I'm done, I close the valve on the tank and within a few days, maybe even one (not 100% sure how long) it drops to zero.

Is it suppose to keep the pressure on the guage or so I have a slow leak at the connection somewhere?

Thanks, new to welding.

Mine do the same, there are sometimes a teeny, tiny leak that might be hard to find, I don't worry about it unless you use the thing all day so that you might lose a little gas. If it takes days for the gage to go down the leak is pretty small and if you shut off the tank you're not going to lose much anyway.

Do you ever see pressure on the gauge and second guess yourself, "Did I close those tank valves or not?" Why not go ahead and zero the gauges when you close the tanks? I think you'll find this in the safety info you can read online.
