Do you need door seals- for the door jamb area?

I made one temporarily and it actually looks fine- I found a used one very reasonable from another member, but this will give others an options vs buying a new one for $42 and shipping. I used an old truck inner tube to cut it out and the 3 mounting screws plus some adhesive around the edges (E6000 from Walmart has done me well!)
