Doctor Diff shafts

going to put a 8 3/4 rear axle underneath my Dart soon. So now the time has come to order me some new axle shafts.

But on the Doctor Diff site I have to make a choice between 3 options
30 spline carrier
35 spline spool (not Mark Williams)
Dana 60 35 spline carrier.

But which one do I need to order ?? Is the standard shaft always the 30 spline ??
Or do I only find out the correct one by pulling out the old shafts ??

Do you have the pumpkin now? What kind of ring gear carrier do you have (spool, power lock, etc)? Just shine a light down there and count. Chances are it's 30 spline.

I see you're across the water, but honestly I would call him because there are other things he may want to know such as what brakes you plan to run etc.

I just called him. It was way easier that way. He asks you a few simple questions and DONE. It took less than 5 minutes to order. But if you insist on doing it online, If your carrier is factory or a factory replacement it'll be a 30 spline.

I ordered mine on line and everything was easy. Form ordering to installing.

standard sure grip and spool will have 30 spline...

some spools come in 35 spline....

dana 60 wont fit....
