hi,

my dart needs a new trans, and i called John friday afternoon and got a shipping price, packaging price and core charge. I told a friend about it and that is in Indiana, and he said lets go get it cause he wants to stop somewhere in Illinois for his garden pulling tractor engine. It will be alot cheaper to drive out and split the gas money than to pay for him to ship it.

But, i did not ask him if he has them in stock. I assume that he does and would have one there if i stop on monday and i can bring it home. His website does not say anything about wether or not he has them built or they are built to order. has anyone bought one and answere this for me?

i dont want to take a 1,600 mile road trip and return without a trans.

Thanks,

Steve

Give him a call. 219-374-0100. I just got some parts for
my trans. He seems like a great guy.
I would recomend him to anyone.
I think he's on moparts.com alot. Also has an add on there.

yea, i saw his add on moparts. I assume that hes got some in stock. If we go we will be leaving in 2 hours, and hes not open today. However i did find another guy close to him that has a buisness similar to his and his site advertises that he does have some ready for pickup or to be shipped. So i will probably be going.

Thanks,

Steve

I ordered one. He did have one that was built that i could have bought, but it was a 727 and i currently have a 904. I didnt want to go through getting a new yoke, shortening my driveshaft and getting another shifter that works with reverse pattern valve bodies.

Looking forward to getting it in a couple weeks!

i'll let you know when i get it in. i could be possibly be in a couple monthes, i'm a farmer and its starting to get nice out meaning i will be very busy.
