I will be rebuilding my LA 318 engine. I did find a rebuild kit on summit, but I was wondering if the engine needs to get machined? Or can I just go straight ahead with the rebuild kit? Not looking for anything crazy but simply bring this 318 back to life. Thanks

It would have to be torn down and the cylinders inspected before a decision like that can be made.
Being the bare block to the machine shop so they can tell you where you stand with it.
