Drive pulley question

Are the drive pulleys on a early 273-318 different from the later model (water pump) engines? I'm dealing with later model power steering pump not lining up or anywhere close to the pulleys that are on there. Not sure if they changed the offset at all on later years.

..........up to 69 with cast ion water pump , then 70 and later with aluminum water pump.......kim..........

It is near impossible to mix/match different years. 69 and down like Kim said cast iron waterpump, use all 69 and down pulleys. OR use all 70 and up(alum water pump). Good luck cuz putting it bluntly can be a pain in the arse!

Yikes. This ain't good news. I wanna get rid of ac compressor on a 73 318. I guess i got some hunting to do!

You should be good as long as you just ditch the AC, with no swapping involved. Belt change of course...LOL
