drive shaft

Hey guys my 72 demon when I purchased it had a 904 trans in it :sign6: . The fender tag calls for a 727, I have a rebuilt 727 but noticed these trannies are not the same length and I will need and different drive shaft. Can someone tell me if any small block V8 with a 727 tran will have the correct length drive shaft that I can use for my application?

Any car that has a 108" wheel base with a 727 will work assuming you have an 8 3/4 rear. You can't use a Dart driveline because they are 111" wheel base. All Dusters, '67 -'69 Barracudas and '67 -'73 US Valiants are 108" (the '73 -'76 Dart Sport is 108" but you won't be finding a 727 or an 8 3/4 in one of those from the factory).
