I was searching for a driveshaft loop for my dart and couldn’t really find a nice one that looks sturdy enough to slowdown a actual driveshaft if it failed.. So I made one up in cad and 3D printed one. Should be able to accommodate a 4” drive shaft, 4 speeds, tremec trans, 904/727. The part will be able to mount through the floor with 8 3/8 bolts or if you have US car tool subframe connectors you can use the tabs that weld to chassis (not pictured yet).

Per nhra rules it will be 1/4” thick 2” wide steel and with the slide adjustment you’ll be able to get within 6” of the u-joint.

Gauging interest if I should make a production run of these to sell

I'd be interested if you can offer some detail. I need one for a '69 Charger with US Car Tool subframe connectors and a GV overdrive so I think it would need to be wider that an A body to reach the connectors. Can you give me upper hoop section dimensions so I can make sure it fits in the tunnel further back? Can it be made to B body width or is it already pretty universal?

It’s pretty universal but based on an A body. What’s your sub frame width on the inside?
