Is the upper ball joints the same size on the drum and/or disc on a '73 A body? or is the drum the small ball joint and the disc the large?

There are some early production 73 A bodys with 9 inch drum brakes that would have the Small ball joint.
But all 73-76 A bodys with either 10 inch drum brakes, or disc brakes, all use the large ball joint.

hemi71X is the expert on this subject. To be totally sure (your car may have been mod'ed), use a vernier caliper to measure the flat-flat width of the upper ball joint and compare to the two sizes of sockets sold for our cars.

It's not for me, I've already converted my '70 Dart which I know had small ball joints. This is for kid I know who has a '73 Duster with drums, he wants to convert to discs . Just trying to figure out if he needs to swap his upper control arm or not.

I just put 73sbp drum front end on a car and it had large ball joints. They were the large finned drums.
