Hey guys. Getting my valiant ready for cruise season & noticed the rubber ball & trunion dust cover has finally cracked and fallen to pieces. Anyone know of a dust cover that will just expand & slip over the ball and trunion unit unlike the repo ones where you have to disassemble everything. Thanks.

You might be able to use a slip CV joint boot. Or a rubber plumbing "fernco" spelling????

Hey bro how are you doing? I'm out here on the boat, Atlas Obsolete parts usually has the trunion kit comes with a new packing plate and grease, bands etc. I usually see them on Ebay too.
 
Whats up Rick. Watch out for pirates. Is the Navy going to get you back for the little guy nationals.Thanks for the info. Didn't you rebuild your ball & trunion unit already. Heard they are a pain in the A$$ to rebuild. PM or email me with some tips,I might just go ahead & rebuild mine or get Standard to do it.
