Just wondering what year Dusters got the factory aluminum hood? Also, was it standard on all Duster models or just the Feather Duster? Finally, what is a nice one worth at swap meet price?

The hood skin was steel, just the inner bracing was alluminum, it was only available on 1976 Feather Dusters. I found one at a wrecking yard several years ago, passed it up, Facepalm !#-o

Nice pieces. You can tell the difference without a magnet because around the perimeter, the steel hood skin is actually crimped to the underside bracing/frame. (Can't weld steel & aluminum.) It saves about 15 lbs, give or take a few. But you have to use the corresponding lighter hood springs. Otherwise, the hood doesn't want to close straight and wants to bend in the middle. Not as light as a fiberglass hood, however. Same cars had aluminum bracing in the trunk lids and some other interesting parts. Do a search for "Plymouth Feather Duster". neat little cars.
