Yet another repro item that doesn't seem to work. Not fair to say who I got them from since I'm not 100% sure (just threw-out the package yesterday) but I'm fairly certain they are the ones that most guys say are great (the ones at the "top" of everyone's list)
They are so tight against the glass that when I raise the window the outer weather strip uninstalls itself at the front of the glass. This is a new glass installation that has been very difficult so i know i still have adjustments to make, but with the outer belt weatherstrip removed the window works good. With it installed forget it. Tried silicone which I don't think I should have to do since it will mess-up the glass but even that was no help. Giving them time to wear-in is not an option. Not only do the weatherstrip clips come out of the door, but operation is so hard something's going to snap in the regulator mechanism. Anyone seen this? w/strip is now ruined from being R&R'd so many times so I'll have to try another set anyhow. thanks in advance

You need to do your glass adjustments according to the FSM first, then see where you're at with the operation of the window.

Thanks Rick. Yeah some kind of adjustment or parts issue. I gave-up, moved to the right side and everything on that side came out great. Looking for another lift channel. I think that might be the culprit. Thanks for the FSM idea. I have one but for some reason never think to go to it.
