I believe I have a set.
One of the tracks is flat for the catalic converter hump. I believe they started that in 74.

75 for the cat converter.

Hey Rob,
For some reason (through my reading) I thought they prepped the 74 with the hump, knowing they were going to the cat in 75. I could be wrong on this.

Anyways I have 3 tracks and 1 flat track.

My 74 doesn't have the hump for the cat, so I don't think the flat track will work.

What do you mean toast? Are they bent and rusted, or do they just not move well?

I bought a set of buckets and the inside drivers side had a plastic guide that had come apart. I found some guides from a F-Body bench seat and swapped them over. If I remember correctly, the rollers were a bit different in size, but I just used the original ones.

Just a thought.

As it turns out I bought these seats on e-bay, FIRST MISTAKE! They were advertised as a 70's Mopar seat for Duster, Dart, dart Sport. When I got them, almost a month later, the rails were all rusted stiff and I had asked the guy how the rails were. I was told they were in very good shape, NOT! After a couple of cans of WD40 and alot of work, I got them moving and actually got them apart to find that both of the tracks with the locking handle were missing the roller assembly. Once I check the rail against the car the bolt pattern will not match the holes in the car. Any rate, I just got the seat apart today and found a build sheet in the passenger back cushion and had some questions. The Body Broadcast sheet has a box called model. In that field there is a model entry of 77 is this the year of something else? I do not have a problem rebuilding these seats but I do need to find out what they are. Can anyone help.

I'm going to bet they are F-Body buckets.

Didn't they have a "Duster" trim on a Volare at some point in time? If so, might explain why the guy claimed they were from a Duster.

Just giving the guy the benefit of the doubt. ;-)
