Duster/Dart Sport will it work for a patch panel?

[73 408 Duster]

I have a 73' Duster with a damaged left rear corner and the section around the tail light. I was wondering if I could use a 73' Dart Sport corner and tail light section to repair mine. It looks like a Duster bezel would fit exactly if I cut out the center metal splitting the Dart tail lights and drilled a center hole. Has anyone done this or know if it will work, are the measurements the same? I have included pics. for reference.

You will have to put the center peice in the patch panel.

I never did this before but looks identical , with the exception of the vertical separation piece for the dart sport , i would just measure if it is right cut it out try a duster tail light in it . I think it will wourk for you .

i would use it. 4 of the 6 holes are already in the right spot. just cut out the center chunk.

Might take a little finesse but I'm sure you can make it work if you have some welding skills.
