Looking to restore my Duster grille here in the coming month and had a couple questions to try and make it as easy as possible on me.
I've used Easy Off oven cleaner to remove paint from plastic on a couple other parts with success. I know it removes the anodizing off of the chrome so if I tape off the chrome border of the grille with masking tape, do you guys see any problems here with the oven cleaner soaking through and possibly messing up the anodizing or should I be pretty safe with this method?
Also when it comes to painting the black part of the grille, will SEM's plastic adhesion and Color Coat Landau Black work well for this? I had fantastic results painting my console with this method but I'm not sure how well it would hold up to the elements. Thanks!
