I have a 1973 Duster with a non-original 340/6 pack. I have been looking for some time for a Dual Snorkel hood scoop to install on my hood. Unfortunately, the original scoops that I have found are either too expensive or have so much damage that I am not sure if I could bring them back. I have seen Aftermarket scoops that are made of fiberglass that look good in the pictures and I am wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I would like to keep the car "original appearing", so I am not interested in some of the other type scoops. I would appreciate any help you could give!

I have a repro dual snorkal. They look good but don't have the two-piece seam molded into them so you can tell the repros from the originals, if you know what to look for. I personally like the repros seamless one-piece design but the problem is they are a bit thinner than the originals and tend to warp if out in the elements to much. They look good but if your going for total originality find a used original and restore it, they are out there. Hope this helps.
