Duster Solid Roof Sun Roofs

Just curious...how rare are dusters with the integrated crank sun roofs? Not the fold back fabric ones but the solid metal style.

They are rare, I can't tell you the production #'s on them, as I don't believe there's any accurate production figures on these. The cars were shipped to ASC (American Sunroof) and retro fitted there.

The canvas fold back are actually rarer IMO, as I have only ever seen two.

There are a few members on here with Dart Sports and Duster sunroof cars.

Do you own one? any pics ?

I just bought a 73 duster that has one, I can take pics this Thursday.

I have just installed a sunroof roof skin into my 74 duster. It was from a rusty 74 duster I stripped out years ago. I have seen afew cars over the years. Do a search for sunroof on the forum, as there was a thread on that about a year ago. Lots of pictures.

I don;t think they are rare to the point of increasing value significantly, but they're rarer than a car without one:-D

I have a 73 w/ a sunroof that I converted to a 71 demon clone w/ a sunroof.

Are seals hard to find for the sunroofs or are they a fairly generic seal?

I haven't been able to find them in any resto parts catalogs.
