I called Dutchman yesterday and asked if they can redrill my 5x4" axles to 5x4.5". The guy said that he did not think they could do it. I was a bit surprised as they have been mentioned several times on this site as someone who can do this. He said I needed to measure the flange to see if I will end up with 3/16" between the stud and the edge of the flange. I want screw in studs to make sure to have the most flange left. My question is who has had this done BY Dutchman? Was this guy inexperienced? He was quick to mention new axles, bearings and retainers for $380 though. Also, does anyone have pictures of their redrill job with screw in studs that they can post?
