Has anyone purchased a motor from Maund Motorworks (E-Bay Store)? If so how were they to work with and what quality are their engines. Looks like a fair deal on a crate motor, would just feel better if I hear from one of you.

I havent used them, but it looks ok. He's posted on a few other sites before and sounds credible. Aerohead heads are not top of my list in terms of quality. I dont know what he'd want to use real pistons, but I'd ask. The base crates seem to use stock pistons. I'd upgrade that part. His pricing is in line with using mostly stock parts, and from reading the other listings, he's using a decktop dyno type program for the HP numbers. They arent really dyno'd. Still, I'd rather pay a guy like that than buy a Mopar Crate engine.

Sounds like great advice. Since I am installing this in a daily driver I think it should be okay. I just want a reliable V-8 and ditch the /6. HP numbers not really a concern. I willl ask about the pistons. I agree, the Mopar crates are very attractive but.......... I appreciate your reply. Thanks.
