e body hoods

I recently saw a picture of a 67 barracuda with 70 style cuda hood. Are they interchangeable?

I dont think they are, there a whole different animal.

im no expert, but Im pretty sure its an ENTIRELY different beast.

an e body style hood goes all the way up to the windshield because there is no traditional cowling with vents like you find on our a-bodies.

however it is possible you seen a e-body STYLED hood on an a-body as after market fiberglass hoods are now offered in many different styles now

no they are not interchangeable....it was custom fabricated, or aftermarket

Thought it might look sweet to have an AAR hood, but it sound like alot of work unless you are good at fabrication

Have seen a few like that. Takes a lot of work to graft that scoop to an A body hood. Or you may find some one who makes one out of fiberglass.

AAR fiberglass can make any hood you want. I had their R/T hood on my Ram.

I just went to their site and seems they sold to Stinger fiberglass??

I would like to see the 1970 Cuda AAR scoop on a 67-8 hood. Bet that would be sweet!
