hi all, have been working on installing my new e-brake cables on my 69 cuda notchback,with a 8-3/4 rear 1st problem i ran into was no e-brake mount hardware on the rear brake shoes, found used parts but not 100% correct had to make adjustments, but finally got them installed hooked up e-brake cables to the rear brake, then went to hook up the intermite cable but found that the right rear cable seems to be 2" longer then the left rear and when i hook up the intermite cable it does not fit correctly, i need to put some type of spacer on the right rear cable so the bracket on the intermite cable brake is straight any ideas what is wrong? wrong cable? or installed incorrectly?
