It is bored .020 and it cleaned up
perfect.
I work in San Bernadino once a week and could
meet you there.

OK, cool. Thanks.I will be back from San Bernadino Monday.
3418915 is the casting number and this is theHi, GTX John. Thank you for responding. I need a bit more info if you wouldn't mind.
Could I get the complete casting #?
Can you send some pics?
Has it ever been decked?
Thanks, James
This number is the same as 70 to 72 340 Block #
BUT this is a 360 Block = they were the same casting # but bored
4.00 INSTEAD of 4.04 from the factory and mains are 360 size. (Rare to find anymore in this shape!)

Thanks for the info Demonracer! I appreciate it.What GTX John is telling you is gospel. I acquired one of the 341 360 virgin blocks to build a copy of a Hensley 416 stroker. I had my block sonic tested per John's suggestion & was able to go 4.060 with no problems. Good luck with your build.
