Can anybody post a picture of their heelpads in their early A's. Fourspeed and auto. Thanks.

Sorry Lee, mine's out of the car and all rolled up somewhere in the pile of parts. If it warms up in the next few days, I can have a look-see and maybe get a picture for you. Mine is a column shift with bucket seats and no console.

Thanks, that would be great. I'm just so tired of buying parts and they say ya it's correct. I don't even have a car that needs to be correct, but if I did man would I be mad. The first carpet I recieved has a heel pad that didn't even come close. So the sent another carpet that did, but it's in the wrong place and........anyway. Sorry to rant. From what I've seen so far that they are the same as the early B-body, but have a notch cut in the top right corner for the accelerate pedal. I've had one guy post a picture of an auto on the dash or column not sure which, it was in a 65 four door Dart. I'm just trying to get a good accurate place ment of the heel pad. I'm going to just cut it out and have my interior guy sow it back on in the right place. I would like to have a picture of at least one four speed car also. Thanks again for your time.

From one Lee to another.

The carpet is from my 1964 Valiant, Signet, automatic.
Color is "Bright Blue" close to Ford or GM Blue.

Wow, thanks. That show's me a lot. That the cut is still there. I wonder if they are letting it lay on top of the bracket that holds the accelerator down to the floor? Cool, thanks guys. Your showing me a lot. Maybe a carpet place will seeing this so they can start selling the right stuff.

And by the way, you can get the correct heel pad, it's just that you'll have to put in the right place.
