Early-A Control Arm Question

Hello all,

Can someone please tell me the difference between a 64-66 a-body front lower control arm, and a 67-72 front lower control arm?
Im guessing they will not interchange?

they interchange just fine...i have 66 control arms on my 69

I could of swore I read many times that they are k-frame specific

If this is true, I could take a set of a-body lower control arms with sway bar tabs and install em on the car...

yes, but u will need the pre 72 to have the sway bar tabs in the right place for ur 65

When I did the disc brake upgrade back in 96 all I had to do was change the upper control arms and spindles. Kept the lower control arms.

I have an addco bar on the car currently but wanted to get a pair of lower control arms with sway bar tabs on em

im guessing the addco bar wont work with the placement of the 67-72 lower control arm tabs?

up to 72 the disc brake lowers had the small ball joint hole just like the drums used.

Thats with the Kelsey Hays SBP set-up right a68postcar? If there is a LBP one with small ball joints That would work great for me. Anybody know anymore about this?
