Ulf (65dartcharger) has over the years with his connections at Chrysler compiled most all the breakdowns by number produced for all models of the 65 Dart. These numbers are not applicable to 63, 64 or 66 Darts or any Valiants.

i pulled a rack from a 65 Dart last Autumn. At Every mounting point the factory installed nutcerts (1/4 x 20 IIRC). The corners all had rubber cushions as did all the cross pieces (long rubber cushions all the way across. The corners had 2 machine screws per corner and the cross pieces one on each end. When I set my other rack up on my wagon I made sure everything was equal side to side and set it where I wanted on the front to back measurements. Hope this helps

Has anyone got a nice roof rack, center trim, and what's left of the rubber strips for sale ? I want a rack for my 65 Valiant wagon.
 
I WISH I could find one. I'd cut one down and mount it on Vixen's roof in a minute. I think it'd look super cool.

It would be super easy to cut on down - leave the F & R parts as is and just shorten the outside poles to whatever length you want the rack to be on the roof.
 
I say install it!!!

I Agree 100% . The roof rack is icing on the cake on Valiant wagons ! Again, if anyone wants to sell one, I will pay.

Thought I’d update this thread. I learned that Quiery Quality did a run of the rubber seals that go between the rack and the roof for Joe Suchy. I ordered the kit and Looks like they’ll fit just fine.
