Early A Windlace- YearOne- FADING!

Just a heads up Ive had the YearOne 65 valiant black door windlace on my car, but thought you should all know that it faded not 1 year after purchasing/putting on the car.
Its now more purple than ever.
Also this car is garaged most of the time.
Just a warning to those thinking of purchasing it from them.

That's a problem with nylon fabric. It does not retain color very well. I had the same thing happen to the aqua windlace on my '64 Valiant convertible, but it did last about 4 years before it looked too bad. Mine were not purchased from Year One, but I'm guessing all the suppliers buy from the same manufacturer.

I'm replacing mine, but will try to dye the old ones to see if the looks can be improved.
