I'm new to your site and thanks to 10sec340 for turning me on to the site. My father has a 69 Dart with a crate 402/435 motor. The brakes aren't doing a very good job of getting it woed! We want to keep the 14" Rallye wheels but want to but discs on the front. We found the entire front set up used for $250, but we would like to put new calipers and rotors on which aren't cheap. Then how can we tell if our wheels center is large enough for the hub and also will the discs clear 14" rims? Is there anything else that we would need to know before digging into this project? Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

If the set-up you are going to use is the Kelsey-Hayes 4 piston set-up, all of the components will clear the 14" rallyes and the hub will go through the center. Other items you should have are the distribution valves from the donor car, new front to back lines for a disc car along with new front lines and hoses, and a new master cylinder. Might as well get the caliper lines while you are at it. I just did a complete swap on my 66 Cuda and my whoa power is at new, safer levels. I have the old SBP 14x 5 1/2" steelies, no problem with clearance. Good luck with your project, Geof
