Just wondering; is this the whole pedal assembly or just the rubber by the looks of it? Don’t the v8 pedals have a rolling linkage?

That's only the pedal. It doesn't have a roller. The pedal rests against a "spoon" at the top and it slides as the pedal is depressed.

Yeah, that’s what I figured. I did a google image search and saw pics of the complete assembly. Breaks my heart when I see rare parts that were for sale on here at one point and I missed out...

As Rusty mentioned, the ad you posted is just the pedal only. No floor bracket, pivot pin and clip, no firewall bell crank, or even the plastic (nylon?) scuff pad for the back side of the pedal where it hits the "spoon".
