Hello Guys,

I'm porting my new Edelbrock 6077 heads. I'm working the combustion chamber to keep all equally and improve more flow...

I have a question about the spark plugs, I'm using this spark plug NGK R5672 A-8 (same that Brian Hafliger used in his article "How To Build A Pump-Gas 620hp Small-Block Mopar")

I think that the spark plug is "hide" inside the chamber like show the imagem below:

What do you think guys? Any suggestions?

I noticed the same with my heads. Edelbrock does specify 3/4" reach spark plugs for their cylinder heads, so according to their spec you should be OK. I got the R5671 A-7 for my setup.

Never have like the way they set the spark plug up in the chamber on them heads.......but they make power!?!?

I thing i would stick with the plug reach you have now. As a longer thread plug will fill the void better BUT, now you have SPARK PLUG THREADS in the combustion chamber.
