I was wondering if it will fit under a flat Duster hood? I have a Torker 340 now and I believe the Air Gap is taller. I also have a Mopar air cleaner. Will it fit or will I have to get a drop base air cleaner bottom?

Well I have a Dartsport but I am sure the spacing would be comprable to a duster. I have an Airgap intake with 1" spacer with 2 3/16 gaskest and I have the mopar Air cleaner but I have to run a special K&N filter that in't as tall to get it all to clear! If you want I can get you the part number of the K&N filter I use.

Thats a teeny air filter. Do yourself a favor and change to a drop base or something. I ran a MP filter daily for a few months, i put on my ram air setup...even out of the hole its much more torquey. Noticeably, that small of a filter is just plain restrictive.

Ram air setup I would except it to be but you are comparing apples to oranges with that anology. I dunno what you mean by teeny as it is maybe only .5 inch smaller than the orginal.

14" x 3" air cleaner would be optimum. That is the size air cleaner that most carbs are tested with.

Ditto on the drop base.If you have any clearance issues a drop base is a must.
