Just got my 440 with the Edelbrock RPM package finished and put on the dyno. Edelbrock said it would make 469 Hp, I got 484.1 HP. I changed carb to a Holley 850 CFM, Got 500.9 HP at 5600 RPM. Edelbrock said it would make 515 foot pounds at 4000 RPM, I got the same thing. With the Holley carb I got 535 Foot pounds at 4000 RPM. Edelbrock did there homework on this RPM Package.

Would work even better with a good cam. That cam is basically a run-of-the-mill Chevy profile ground for a Mopar engine. Get a good modern profile in there and your HP and torque will probably go up significantly.

68dodge, nice, very nice. On that RPM package, did Edel. use a 750 carb?

So it was an Edel. 800 cfm carb.

What was included in the package? ...and what else was done to your motor?
Im not doubting you, im curious. Because I am new to this, and I had glanced over edelbrock's product lineup.
