Hi ladies & gentlemen. Jim from Wrentham, MA here. I have a 75 Scamp with a 225 /6. The ported vacuum plug/fitting on the engine near the thermostat with 2 connections on it has one broken off. As I understand it these control the EGR valve. There is another one on the radiator that is blue.
The plastic on the broken one is once opaque white turned yellow. It is original Chrysler Corp. with the number 3830428 and 2854 on it.
When I look this up in Rock Auto or Autozone there are various options but none right on the money as far as description. Some are color coded (blue, natural, black). Some have cross referenced OEM numbers that are close (383. . . . ) but no cigar. They also list different temperature values such as 125-128*, 150*.
Any suggestions on how much it matters or which one you would get? Thanks in advance.
