i have a 360 crate shortblock with ported x heads comp 525hL cam with 1.6 roller rockers and the ld340 intake with a 750 quickfuel carb i run out of rpms early is anyone running the tm5 edelbrock intake or familure with this intake

I have used tm-6 and tm-7 intakes on big blocks. They should still be making power up to at least 6500 rpm. How tight are you spinning yours? It will be much better at high rpm's than a ld340, though.

i have also used the tm7 the runners are a little different because of spacing for the intake bolts i would like to go to 6300rpms the block was decked and the heads were cut i have to take a 100'' of the intake sides so it gets costly to change mainifolds i have 410 gears i need about 6300 to get thru traps

I had one on two different 340's; one was in a Dart with 4.56's and the other was in a Dart with 3.23's. The power starts coming on at 3500 and pulled up to 7000. IF you are running a 3.91 or better, it'll probably be fine. $-spd or auto....probably need a healthy stall speed also. Good luck! Bob
