Can you please explain the purpose of these ears?
They mount between the block and water pump. They sit on the frame rails then get bolted to them. They take the place of the engine mounts. U will need to have the back of the water pump flanges milled down an equal amount because they space the pump further out. Hope I explained this so u understand it. Kim
Similar to a motor plate.
Ok. I see, gives you lots of room for headers etc.
Cause I have a 383 and didn't need them, kept it stock, I used the original mounts.
