Engine blocks

3 engine blocks for sale. All standard bore. 1968 440,no main caps. 1967 440,with main caps. 1976 400 with main caps. The 68 block has a small chip in the lifter drain valley which is meaningless,just pointing it out. 440 steel crank. Steel crank balancer.69 440 intake,choke is intact with choke rod and egr fitting. factory valve covers.Timing chain cover.Set of decent engine mounts,application unknown.2 dog dish,plymouth redline hubcaps.1 727 spool mount BB transmission. 1 passenger side 5215 BB fenderwell header.New. 400 rods and pistons,factory,used. Like to get $700 for everything and local pickup. Shipping where I am would be a real pain in the butt. I will add pix this evening or tomorrow. Like to clean my basement up.

Any chance you'd seperate the crank? I probably couldn't afford it....but ya never know.

Ya never know stroker but I would rather sell everything together.Crank is standard I believe. This is all good stuff,no junk.

Heres some pictures.Sorry if the lighting is bad.These are all GOOD standard bore blocks.One pic shows the chip in the lifter valley of the 68 block.Any rust on the blocks is slight surface rust.Same with cylinders,no pits. Like to move this stuff.

Oops.2 of the blocks have been tanked and magged.The 68 and the 76 400.Hence surface rust.Both checked out good. Hard to get good pix in a basement.

What's the date on the 67 440. I need a 440 to go in a 68 GTX.

The 67 block is a 430 casting with a date code of 10*11*66.Pad says C 440 12-30.The 68 block is also a 430 casting and has the date of 4*1*68. Pad says D 440 6-7.There is also an upside down A? under the 440 on the pad.Anyone know what this means?

"A" could be .020" oversize on the cylinder bores.

Ok.One last try.$500. These are good,standard bore rebuildable blocks. The pictures dont do the items justice. Everything is covered in dust from my wood stove.

Small Block

I've got a 440 with 2536430-6 and 8-29-67 cast on the right side. I bought the engine years ago for the crank only. The rest of it is still together including the heads.
