been doing alot of bench racing and came up with a combo id like to put together over the next winter and this is what im thinking...
5.9 magnum block bored 30 over
hughes forged 426 stroker kit
hughes ported iron ram heads, flow 268 at 500 and 264 at 550
hughes ported airgap intake
proform race vacume secondary 750 carb
not sure how big of a cam im going to run but it is a street car so i think around 550 lift. or wht if i swaped to a mechanical roller cam and really made some horsepower? how much horse do you guys see coming from this combo and what would it run in my 3250 pound cuda with 727 8 3/4 with 3.73's. right now it has a flat tappet stock stroker 360 going 13.3 on 9 inch slicks

It's only been a few hours, relax, it's early.

Short and sweet... Not nearly enough head for it IMO. I'd want to see [email protected] minimum, and a solid street roller in the [email protected], .630 lift area. If you have the hood room, athe Victor would be my first choice, the single plane M1 with a 1" open spacer and some entry mods would be 2nd. I would think a pump gas combo with an HP950 carb would make at least 550hp. With the right convertor, that 3200lbs street car would be mid to low 11s on street tires, stock suspension, and mild gearing.

hughes also offers a fully prepped iron head that flows 285 at 550 and 298 at 600 lift for 1800 bucks, matches pretty well with the lunati solid roller 600 lift intake and exhaust 255/263 duration at .50. how far would you guys feel safe spinning this motor with 10:1 compression, 6500?
